Day 19: Today was my grandparents' 66th wedding anniversary and we spent the morning at the Hindu temple to celebrate it. I'm always a little uncomfortable in religious settings. In the evening, I met up with my sister's bestie and we walked through this commercialized creative space called Alserkal Avenue. I met some interesting people and saw cool art. Then I had dinner at a former schoolmate's Mexican restaurant. I respect his commitment to authenticity, especially for Dubai.
