i saw this book at santa monica barnes and noble when i was 14 and fell in love with the cover. a week later i went searching for it again, it seemed to have disappeared, but then i saw a copy behind the register; i asked my mother to please purchase it. i realized i should know something of the words before, so i read the first few lines, i decided indeed it was the book for me. i had never really enjoyed reading before i read this book. much later, i emailed the cover artist and thanked him.
