last week, joey and i spent the entire week working together in vancouver.

here are my notes from the week:

1. you can't assume a reference means the same thing to two people. if you're pointing to something specific, make sure you're both pointing to the same level of specificity
2. the hours in a day go by fast when you're working hard
3. planning and thinking through an idea is great but if you get stuck in every small logistic, you might miss the obvious first step: just start
4. delegating is important
5. ideas can be repeated, the execution will always be different
6. printing at your neighbourhood print shop is almost always a good idea
7. the library is a free space to work but not the best space to talk and collaborate
8. sometimes the most productive thing you can do is play!
9. facebook marketplace can be a great same-day solution
10. holding something you made in the palm of your hand is an unbeatable feeling
