Day 18: Another sweltering day in Dubai. I woke up and had plans to traverse the town but I decided to stay inside because of how hot it was. In the evening, we went to this giant shopping/eating place called Global Village. I used to go here a lot as a kid but it's REALLY nice now. I got these beautiful mother-of-pearl boxes from an Egyptian kiosk and then walked some more with my family.
