welppp i got covid. so there wasn't much going out while i was isolating. however, i did need to get groceries, so today i masked up, brought my hand sanitizer with me, and tried to stay as far away from people as i could while stocking up.

today i helped @aristotle pick up a coffee table from facebook marketplace. this cost me 2.90 on the subway. from there, we took it back to his place, which cost me another$$2.90. to celebrate his new table and my freedom from quarantine, we went to soothr for some sukhothai noodle soup and thai tea. this was probably the best meal i've had in the city so far !! this came out to 24.80 plus the 2.90 it took to get there, plus the$$2.90 it took me to get back home. afterwards i stopped at trader joes and bought a vanilla pumpkin candle cause that shit is like CRACK to me and i had burned my previous candle's wick to a little stub. this came out to4.34. i needed good wifi for a remote gig i was working the next day, and unfortunately the internet speed at my apartment is a sick joke -- so after getting home, i packed my bags and headed back to aristotle's to spend the night and use his wifi the next day. so that was yet ANOTHER 2.90

let's get one thing straight. i am a coffee FEIN. on my millennial "don't talk to me till i've had my coffee" shit. so there was no way i was starting my day without coffee, which aristotle does not have at home. lucky for me there was a cafe in walking distance from his house for me to get a latte beforehand. i wanted aristotle to go with me so i offered to get him a drink like the generous girlfriend i am! this came out to 10.25. after work, i met up with aristotle and another friend in the lower east side for some wah fung no.1 fast food. this was$$4.25. plus the $$2.90 i spent getting there. finally, i ended my day taking the subway home, which was another 2.90.

i started off my day at the goodwill bins in LIC. i loveee the goodwill bins in glendale, so i was super duper excited to check out the bins here. i'm not gonna lie, the selection this day was WEAK. i only ended up getting a top, a scarf, and a purse that i liked. but i did stumble upon this sweet little mixtape someone had made someone else for their birthday that i decided to document. your efforts have not gone unseen, andrew <3 anyway, i spent $7.49 here, plus the$$$2.90 it took to get there.

next, i met up with @aristotle at prospect park to help him film a video for one of his songs. i hadn't eaten anything, so we stopped for matcha and a bacon egg and cheese bagel before heading to the park. this came out to $18.26.

afterwards i headed back to the lower east side to meet up with a friend. this was of course another 2.90 on the subway to get to the bar we were going to meet at. i somehow routed myself to a completely random location though so i had to walk 17 minutes anyway. my friend was kind enough to pay for my drink, so no money was spent there! i did however get a little tipsy and immediately jump at the suggestion of watching a movie, which cost me 22.68. but no regrets! that new paul thomas anderson is worth it y'all. i spent another$$2.90 on the subway back home afterwards.
