(impromptu?) clay feet by artist Kenjiro Okazaki. Recently, the Instagram algorithm treated me with a gem as it pushed these clay feet by artist Kenjiro Okazaki onto my feed. this sculpture appears to be a spontaneous response to the material after the clay was wedged and cut into pieces. Assuming that the clay must have been wet and soft to the touch these feet hold a tension of brutality and delicacy.
