beautiful, full of movement and fluidity. so many influences to create what feels like such a cinematic work. first saw him play at minaret’s piano party in february. i hadn’t been familiar with his music before but i learned that he is roy hargrove’s brother. i had only seen him play once at blues alley in washington dc in 2015 or so. still, i am discovering and listening over a decade later, from a single thread into a new one. inshallah forever.
