a way to log in using username would be helpful. I had an account I was posting on but didn’t log in for a while now have lost access to it. I’ve tried all my usual emails but it doesn’t log me in, im always prompted to create a new screen name.

feelin more and more that id like to see “channels you’re a part of” or “channels you’ve connected to” in profile view (perhaps only on user-side and not publicly visible? or idk - mostly bc i just wanna be able to keep track of what and where those channels are)

some sort of way to crop photo while in the app.

the text in the submit (input) page renders slightly differently than the actual posted text in the item row. it could be character spacing or something like that. but what is certain is that, i like the input page much better.

there should be an analog form of inviting visitors/other users to submit to channels. like having a QR code for each channel. would be swell to print out and hang around the city, or in the woods, or in some hidden nook under the stairs somewhere…

i think something lighter than “mute channel” would be nice, like an option to “skip” to the next channel in the feed maybe a lil pop up button after scrolling past like 5 or whatever number posts from the same channel

dm message draft caching pls — when i am typing a message to someone and i leave dms to go elsewhere when i come back it’s gone D:

once a channel cover image has been added, there’s no way to remove it so that it no longer has a default image. I regret my cover photo selection and want it to choose the most recent photo instead ☹️

any chance we could get a manual theme picker for dark/light mode?

this app is so much better than tumblr

being on River with a small number of followers and seeing my feed so simple so spontaneous is definitely a breath of fresh air. I mean as long as you stay close to a small circle you allow yourself to be in a different way not just virtually but intimately???? L&L

this might have been said already, but when uploading a new piece of media and choosing which channel to post it, it would be nice to be able choose several channels instead of just one also maybe a setting to set a channel to private, if I want it to be just visible to me

i know we can block users but we could get an option to hide/block specific channels so they don’t appear in the everything feed?

lil UX thing: Would be fun to be able to crop on the app to remove the extra step of going into the camera roll, crop then uploading—just a thought!
