my bag (left) and kendall's (right), who seem to be gossiping while ken and i inspect various wares in a warehouse sale. we needed to set them down to sift through a pile of leather skins, generally poke about at odd bits of furniture and giggle while thumbing through sixty-year old soda advertisements.

we tossed them down just as they are, and i liked the colors and the way the bags are leaned towards each other in confidence. my pink bag propped casually against the table legs, ken's blue bag thrown an elbow or a knee over mine. old friends. girls. sitting back chatting and ever so stylish, exactly how i feel with kendall.

exit

i pass under these two exit signs in my building every morning on my way out the door to work. usually i am too busy to notice them, but the other day i caught them while i was rushing out.

they are sat at their little desks, perhaps at cubicles on a corner by a walkway, facing the way they do to accommodate their odd positioning. they frequently sit up straight so as to peek over the cubicle divide and chat. their dynamic is comfortable enough that this can happen unprompted after hours of silence. when one of them is at home sick the other texts them all day saying, "this is so boring i wish you were here ugh"

lmao the pie we made

the pie(s) we made. one is a little more cooked, reassuring the other that he, too, will get golden brown any minute now. perhaps the one on the right is a little bashful, they were the trial and had to go back in the oven to cook a bit more. by the second one we knew what we were doing. there is honor and valor in being the trial, says the fresh one on the left.

an unlikely pair. perhaps i am not being so original as this pic was taken at a party, but i think these guys are at a party and they are gossiping about the fruit snacks. (she was really drunk and fell asleep under a table.)

they are stood shoulder to shoulder and facing slightly outwards towards the happenings. the dinos are kinda young and causing a ruckus. the lighter and brownie see each other every so often, but run in different circles so they like catching up at these things.
