i use the App Store itself as a function to determine which apps I need and which apps need to go(be uninstalled). h ? o well, i've disabled auto-updates. once w in a while, i check the updates section and update the apps that i use frequently. the apps that i don't use frequently, accumulate at the bottom of the updates list, and that's how i know which apps need to go.
