this is how my sku plan is looking as of 04 nov, 12:51 am. plan to have these looks fully lined up ~~tomorrow~~ (it took 4 more days).

look 02: OFFWHI PIERCED TOP + WOOL CHARM SKIRT
excited about this skirt bc i have a deadstock balenciaga wool from 2022 to use at least that is what they told me at mood. the rest of these fabrics are significantly less expensive and from jobbers in dtla fashion district.
look 03: HOODIE STRINGS TOP AND DENIM MINI
the necklace has since been replaced with a black hoodie string as originally intended.
NOTE TO MARINA EXPERIMENT VERSION WITH HOOD FOR LATER UPDATES

look 04: HAVE FAITH SHIFT DRESS
i have this pattern drafted but i think it needs length out bc i cut my personal sample but i don't remember how much i took off. also need to drop the armhole 1/4" bc it's cutting up. not all construction details called out above are accurate as i sketched this with a much lighter fabric in mind.
here is a photo of the dress, i want to change it from this black twill (too heavy) to a waxed denim i have that will break in nicely.
this is arguably the best photo i have of the dress. this was a happy day selling at the silverlake flea with friends. i sold a lot but broke even after paying the booth fees.

okay, it's saturday 08 nov. this blogpost is done. i wanted to have it done sooner but i've had the bubonic plague (bar flu from halloween i know u know) and also job interviews bc i do still have to pay rent unfortunately. balance between accountability and softness on oneself is important. here is my sku:
next is patterning, sewing and BOMs, sourcing more materials where needed and learning to screenprint. i think i can pick up a starter kit at the craft store near where i'm interviewing monday. in the meantime i will watch a bunch more videos and make my vector graphics and i think i can print the transparency film at the LA public library. thank you @800cherries for putting me on to the Octavia lab; attn DTLA area river users they have free art resources!
